I read something recently that made me laugh. It said, “Your content doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to sound like a human wrote it.” And honestly, that should be printed on every therapist’s office wall when they’re trying to write their first blog post or social media caption.

The truth is, content creation doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or fake. You don’t need to reinvent therapy, write the next New York Times article, or suddenly become a YouTuber. What you do need is to speak to your ideal client with honesty and clarity. That’s it.

Whether it’s a blog post about how anxiety shows up at work, a short video on grounding exercises, or a carousel on Instagram about setting boundaries with family, your content should do one thing… make someone feel seen. When you do that consistently, you don’t just build an audience. You build trust.
